Smithberger Photography, Inc. is a commercial photography studio located just moments from Belden Village in Canton, Ohio. In addition to studio work, owner/photographer Joe Smithberger shoots on-location projects in Akron, Canton, Cleveland, and elsewhere in Northeast Ohio. Joe has spent the past 14 years working with a diverse mix of clients – from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies - and communicating their stories through his photographic images.

Joe graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After 12 years as a design engineer, he turned his love of photography into a full-time endeavor when he opened Smithberger Photography in 1991. Smithberger Photography is a fully-digital shop specializing in commercial, editorial, industrial, and architectural photography. Joe’s photos are frequently featured in:
